A few months ago 876radio.com told you that Portmore Empires' frontman Vybz Kartel had once again teamed up with his business partner Corey Todd on another Corporate venture.

First it was Vybz Rum, now it's a new contraceptive to promote safer sex. Three months ago the duo had issued a challenge to the public to assist in finding a name for the product (a condom) in return for a handsome reward. From the scores of submissions received a consensus was reached on the name "Daggerin".

Initially the official release date for the "Daggerin" condom which sports the tag line "Playsafe Ramp Ruff Till Game Ova" was set for August 20th, 2008, but due to some unforeseen circumstances it has been pushed back to the second week in September.

876radio.com was told that he condom will be distributed islandwide starting this week and will be available at all Super Plus supermarkets and Total gas station throughout the country.

Daggerin Unlimited the company responsible for the condom is set to launch a series of event across the island to increase awareness and in the process a search will be conducted for an official spokeswoman for the brand.
