Deputy Pulls Gun On Sean "Diddy" C****'s Crew

pdiddy_car_cops_hiphop_mogul.jpgA Los Angeles Sheriffs deputy pulled a gun on hip-hop mogul Diddys entourage during a routine traffic stop early on Saturday, but the unpleasant incident was swiftly cleared up, according to a spokesman for the artist.

Sean Diddy C****s and his crew were driving on Sunset Boulevard in a seven-car convoy when the deputy pulled over one of the cars for having an expired registration tag.

Sheriffs Dept. spokesman Steve Whitmore said that two others vehicles in the convoy also stopped and several men approached the pulled-over car. Thus, the deputy became concerned, called for backup and pulled out the gun in order to keep the situation under control.

The men approached the deputy wanting to know what was going on and did so in an aggressive verbal manner, Steve Whitmore told E! News. There were about seven of them who walked towards him and the deputy, fearing for his safety, unsheathed his weapon and as soon as he did so, it was over, he added, as reported by E! Online.

Sean C****s was not in the car that was stopped for expired registration. A spokesman for the entertainer said the deputy was civil and respectful. In addition to this, the gun was not pointed at the rap mogul and officers were very respectful, according to spokesman Ed Tagliaferri, quoted by The Associated Press.

Steve Whitmore said everything was resolved after the deputy established that the car with expired tags was a rental.

No citations were issued and no arrests were made, while the Diddy convoy was permitted to continue its ride.
