876radio.com has just learnt from the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) that a bench warrant has been issued for the arrest for Alliance head honco Bounty Killer after he failed to show for a hearing in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate Court.
According to the reports Bounty Killer was scheduled to appear before the courts yesterday (July 31st) to answer charges of using indecent language and disorderly conduct during his performance at the recently concluded Reggae Sumfest held in Montego Bay.
Attorneys representing the entertainer told the court that the Warlord is presently in the Virgin Islands on professional engagements, hence the reason for his absence. They also explained that his absence was by no means a sign of disrespect to the city's court and asked that the execution of the warrant be extended until August 21st.
Bounty's arrested stems from his July 18th performance at Sumfest dancehall night where he uttered some unwelcomed commentary about two of his fellow entertainers that was met with boos to show the audience's disapproval.
