Suge Knight is Accused Of Sending Death Threats To Inmate Involved In Biggie Murder Case*-*

BET Awards 05 - Show

Incarcerated R&B singer Waymond Suave Anderson accused notorious rap mogul Suge Knight of sending him threats to change his testimony regarding the 1997 death of The Notorious B.I.G. in court yesterday.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the former singer testified that he received various hand written messages wrapped in plastic at Corcoran State Prison from the former Death Row Records owner. He says this led him to provide false information at last years trial deposition to find out who murdered Biggie.

Despite claims from Anderson that the warnings were personally delivered by ex-Times reporter Chuck Philips, the journalist denies all acknowledgement of any transactions.

That never happened, said Philips in a phone interview with the newspaper. Im flabbergasted by this whole thing. This is the ultimate betrayal.

Philips recently made headlines himself after the Times had to retract a story he wrote claiming rap mogul Diddy and Czar Entertainment president Jimmy Henchmen Rosemend had the late Tupac Shakur shot in 94. It was later discovered that he used fabricated documents in the article.

Aside from threats from Knight, the singer has also accused police officers, a prosecutor and two of his previous defense lawyers of corruption.

Anderson became involved in the Biggie murder case when he accused former LAPD Officer David Mack of the rapper's death only to recant the allegations.

He was initially locked up for life without the possibility of parole in 97 after being convicted for torching a drug users dope spot near the University of Southern California and murdering a man by setting him on fire to avenge an unpaid drug debt.

Prior to his trial, Anderson was found mentally incompetent and sent to a mental facility where he later escaped before returning to trial. He was also previously caught fabricating evidence to win his freedom.

At press time Suge and his attorneys were not available for comment.
