More germs are transferred shaking hands than kissing. Although germs are invisible to the naked eye, they are present everywhere. Germs are micro-organisms that enter the human body and cause infections. There are four different types of germs; bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa.

On a comparative study to determine which common objects attract the most germs, cell phones turned out to hold the greatest amount of bacteria. Mobile phones had more harmful germs than things like a door handle, keyboard, bottom of a shoe, and even a toilet seat.
