Bwoy RD I cant do a regular show right now but good luck with this I hope the djs will be professional enough to follow the guidelines. It has been done before on Valentines day every DJ followed the format for the day and put on great shows. Next year I plan to take the day off just to do my show. RD you take the lead they will follow with the support of senior members. In fact it is in the interest of the site owners to develop the radio's popularity. Listeners cannot play the radio in an office if offensive material is played so I agree with the rules. DJs may have to make their own edits for daytime play. Good luck I hope the radio prosper.

 some a the rules dem can follow but wha di purpose fo the age thing? Cuz see JuniorJ caa play now him a 14, 15 this year.The editted song thing unrealistic for the dancehall DJ's as much as I hate dancehall.


If we all aiming for professionalism the Dj's fi a get pay to then.agree to give the Dj's somtten in return for dedicating them time and then we follow them everyone a dem rules.

kmt most of these want to das weh if not alll this seems like a job this nuh come like enjoyin urself on the radio and coz u must always be looking edit music and all kinda crap suppose i want to play sum old old dancehall wid sum badword in deh wat must i do sit and edit them kmt dash weh this yah man all this yuh should be 18 or over wdf kmt!!!!! if them want we play this way money affi run lol a soo mi seee it

Number 18 seems to be the achilles heel.

in my opinion, if you are over 18 it shouldn't matter what the tunes are,

Only solution is to have it as a theme based on time and target audience, like 6-8 conscious, 11 - 3 dancehall, 2-4 gospel...


but that would kind of kill the whole session as a whole.

These are some good points.. and i agree with some of the members about the edit versions of some materials i mean to do this it will need a lot of work.
And the Site is looking to expand it listeners worldwide, we do see where i can't play the radio @ work due to some material which aren't suitable for the office. hmmHowever time should be allotted for certain Genres so that we all can Enjoy the MediaZone Radio like we are now.

Hope to help with this myself.
