One thing that annoys me... its the signature size of some users for example one user has this huge ass sig 640x480 looks like a poster instead of a sig, and it worst when they have more than one big sig :(

Looks like the size limit thing is not working. :D

size should be like 500x150 max or something :S

ESSENTIAL WAYS THAT CAN IMPROVE THE ZONE:

LOOKING AT THE SITE REALLY CLOSELY IN THE LAST 3 WEEKS I HAVE MANAGED TO SEE QUITE A FEW THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED, HERE ARE SOME FRESH IDEAS FROM THE ONE'S I PREVIOSLY STATED:

** AN IGNORE FUNCTION IN THE CHAT BOX AS PEOPLE REALLY GET VOILENT WHICH DISCOURAGES PEOPLE FROM TAKING PART IN DISCUSION OR EVEN LOGING ONTO THE SITE

** A SYSTEM IMPLEMENTED WERE AS THE USER MUST HAVE A POST COUNT OF 20 POSTS BEFORE THEY CAN VIEW AND ACCESS DOWNLOAD SECTIONS (ALL OF THE FIRST 20 POSTS WILL BE RE-VIEWED BY MODS BEFORE SHOWING UP ON FORUMS BECAUSE THEY MAY SPAM TO REACH 20). THIS SYSYEM COULD HELP CUT DOWN A FAIR AMOUNT OF LEECHERS!!

** A HIDDEN LINK FEATURE WERE AS THE USER MUST FIRST REPLY TO A POST BEFORE BEEN ABLE TO SEE THE LINK TO THE FILE, THIS WILL DEFINATLY CUT THE AMOUNT OF LEECHERS DOWN...

** A THANK YOU BUTTON, ITS ALWAYS NICE TO THANK OTHERS FOR THERE TIME AND EFFORT.....

Our major proplem is leeching right? So for those forums like, dancehall, riddims,music etc that have the links posted to music. Why not have a method setup in such away that when ever a someone posts a link to a sound or such, it will be automatically block to the third party downloader (leecher), unless the third party downloader must post a reply inorder to view the blocked link. This will dramatically reduce the amount of leeching from this site. They are like damn moustiques *u*king all the exclusives and not saying a thanks.

BOI NUH NUH RATE ALL THE CHANGES WAA GWAAN INNA DI ZONE...........ONCE UP ON A TIME DI ZONE WAS THE PLACE TO BE........BUT DUE TO THE INFLUX OF SO MANY LEECHERS AND CHANGES, IT JUST HARD TO KEEP THINGS UNDER ONE UMBRELLA. I for one really misses the old admin, cause so much ruckus wouldnt be goin on in the zone

What's up with the search? Is the database outdated or lagged? I hope that can be fixed next, or even use google spider to index & search the site via an on-site google search bar (until the regular search if fixed).

edit: the google search shouldn't be used if it publicizes the site (obviously)

As a webmaster i have read all your people ideas,but all these things you are asking for is all java script coding and i have register for a activeboard account too see how these boards are made,sorry but all those things people want too see the owner of activeboard.com will have too implanted all these codes for all these things too happen not the admin of this forum,my best suggesting too the owner of this forum is get a NEW BOARD because this board is not a IP board and you can't do much with it unless you know how too make Java codes for activeboards.

Say now this was proboards yes you can get codes make very easy too implate in too the data base for all the board too look a lot nicer but with activeboards it's not as easy as you see it guys,first the admin have too know  which proper code to used on activeboard before go putting it because he can mess the full board up if the code is not compatible with other activeboard codes...


so i guess you all be stuck with this same look till he change the board too something he have more control over like proboards for a example.Plus they are free and you have way more control over the look then activeboards.


I have build a forum for someone with a proboard account and i can tell you the coding was easy too make and the templetes is off the hook,with activeboard you can't add your own templete if you don't know HTML coding so you have too keep using they boring templetes over and over that's right there is a down fall because you should have more control on your forum so all will not look the same but all activeboard forums i see they all look the same way plus the down time is horriable..so admin change the board it don't wroth paying for Gold account if you don't have much control over the forum to make it the way you want too too be.If you need any help PM and i help you with some coding too may be make it look a little nicer too the public.

The reason google bot don't search this site is because every forum is set too members only so google can't serach the site too put more info in the serach engines,and that's one mistake the admin made is too close off all forums from guest because search engines can't crewl the site proper too more advance search on google when people search for something.

That is not as easy as you put it,admin will have too implate a java code in too the database too make that happen what you people forgetting is that all these things is codes and if the admin don't know about the proper codes he can't do these things...

 i feel you on this but sorry it will not happen there is no work around too making the smilies easier with activeboards,you should send a message too activeboards telling them implete a code so the smilies will be with the chat and not people have too go too the forum smilies too get them in the chat..because that make no sense all chat have smilies implated in them for easy access...

That annoys me also there is no guidelines here too let members know the proper size of they signature...and those huge ones make the pages stretch so admin should put in place what size they should used also i have a code that can reduce the sizes so it will become a nice size but i doubt that code will work here because it was made for a other board.

Please look in forum rules and you will see that there is a rule for this issue already.

We have asked members to downsize there signatures and images on there bio`s.. if they dont comply modeartors have the right to resize or delete them.
