Police said a 7-year-old boy drove his grandmother's car more than a mile to a Muncie, Ind., shopping mall before another motorist blocked the car and took the keys. Several motorists called police Tuesday morning to report a small child driving a Geo Tracker. Muncie Police Chief Deborah Davis said the unidentified boy was so small that some motorists could not see anyone behind the wheel. A motorist followed the car as it turned into the mall parking lot and ran into some bushes and a tree. He blocked the car with his vehicle and took the keys from the boy.
Davis said child protective services was called to examine the boy. Police speculated he might have learned to drive from a video game.
