A TWO-YEAR-OLD girl born with four arms and four legs is taking her first steps since having the extra limbs removed.

Lakshmi Tatma had a life-saving operation to remove her headless conjoined twin, who died in the w****.

Families in her remote village of Rampur Kodar Katti, India, believed she was the reincarnation of eight-limbed Hindu goddess of wealth Lakshmi.

Eight months after the 27-hour op she is learning to walk but needs more surgery
