Various Internet reports are saying that 50 Cent did indeed drop $100,000 on a 1965 Chevy Impala for his close friend and actor Val Kilmer.

Fiddy became good friends with the actor during their filming of the upcoming Streets of *lo** in Louisiana, where they spoke on their love of vintage cars.
