Lady Saw says her sister alone handles her bookings

One876Entertaiment.com understands that Jamaican dancehall artiste Lady Saw believes that there is a particular booking agent that has been inflating her prices to prospective promoters, damaging her reputation in an already competitive marketplace. While she refused to name the booking agent, Saw said that the incident stemmed from a booking she has to perform at a show in Spain later this month.
"When I spoke to the promoter, he told me that the agent had told him two to three thousand dollars more than I usually charged. So the agent got extra money. Plus the promoter asked me if I was married now as the agent had insisted that I would not come unless another artiste also performed. Then the last straw, I found out that someone was also flying first class on my rider," she said. "This creates a lot of confusion in how I handle my business."
There was also a similar incident involving another show in New York. That is the reason she is moving aggressively to let promoters know that her bookings are handled by her sister, Jazz and that she can be contacted at ladysawbooking@gmail.com.
"They can also go on my Myspace and contact me, everything will be handled through Halls Production from now on," she said.
