This really is the season for rumours and just as the one about Bounty being stoned in Guyana fizzles away another has cropped up this time it involves dancehall artiste Faith Eselebor Jackson more popularly known as Barbee.

Apparently there is a rumour on the mill that the tall statued singer is pregnant and hence her absence from the local arena. In an effort to set the record straight 876radio.com decided to do some investigating of our own and contacted her management .

According to Ray Alexander, her Publicist "nothing like that, it's all just rumours being spread by unscrupulous people, Barbee is off the local scene because she is overseas working on her upcoming album, and that's the truth, she is the farthest thing away from being pregnant".

These sentiments were later reaffirmed by the towering diva in an interview with a local gossip publication, So for all those who were hoping to see a little 'Zaga' on the way better luck next time.

Barbee who came to notoriety in the latter half of last year after being featured on a single with Beenie Man titled 'Give It Up' on Mario C's Revenge Riddim, is set to ink a record deal with a major label in the coming weeks.
