April 22, 2008. Looks like Kanye and Alexis weren't just playing coy. MediaTakeOut.com reported to you that last week Alexis was spotted without her engagement ring. Well now Alexis has come out publicly to acknowledge her break up with Kanye.

Here's her official statement:
It's always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends. I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met.

Hmmmmmm ... does that mean that John Legend can get back in the picture????
