Popular Jamaican reggae artiste Beres Hammond and his band will perform at a concert off Sparky Drive in Grand Cayman on Friday, April 25.
Cable & Wireless and Music Mogul Productions are hosting the Grammy Award winning artiste at the Return of King Beres Hammond and the Harmony House Band show.
Mr Hammond last performed in Grand Cayman to a sold out crowd in 2001 and his fans have been longing for his return. He is well-known for his sultry voice and hypnotic lyrics, including Groovy Little Thing, What One Dance Can Do, Tempted to Touch, Putting Up Resistance, No Disturb Sign, They Gonna Talk, Rock Away, Music is Life and others.
In early February, he was pronounced the Reggae Role Model of The Year at the Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards in Jamaica. The honour is a testament to the musicians success, and his ability to mentor upcoming performers, including Nikki Turner and Ginja and Jah Cure.
Dwayne Seymour, of Music Mogul Entertainment, said the line-up would begin with local artists Impulse band and Stewart Wilson, and a special appearance by reggae artiste Inga Stewart.
