A ruling at the Supreme Court on Tuesday relaxed the conditions, making it more feasible for 'The Doctor' to visit his son.

D'Angel's publicist, in seeking to clear up the misconception, said in an interview yesterday that, "as it relates to the restraining order it is against his wife, and not Marco-Dean. There was never a restraining order against him (Beenie Man) not seeing Marco-Dean." He continued, "there was a restraining order of him (Beenie Man) coming in close proximity to Michelle (D'Angel). She has nothing against him seeing Marco-Dean, as a matter of fact she would love for him to spend time with Marco-Dean on the understanding that he is a father with a son, not a husband with a son, but there are conditions."

The publicist further added, "We just want to put on record that she (D'Angel) has never said that the child would not have the opportunity to see his father, but she just wants to ensure that the environment is one that is conducive to the child's welfare and protection."

The feedback coming out of D'Angel's camp is that she and Beenie will be working with the child's best interest in mind.

"They (Beenie Man and D'Angel) will work out the conditions and time period. But the child does have a nanny and the nanny should always be in the presence of the child, and this was a request of Michelle that was granted by the court," the publicist said.

When contacted, Beenie Man's publicist, Ray Alexander said, "technically D'Angel was correct in saying that there was no ban on Beenie seeing his son, but the condition wasn't suitable for the artiste's busy schedule. Because every time Beenie wanted to see his son, his attorney would have to talk to D'Angel's attorney to set up a meeting place for him to see his child, because a restraining order prevented Beenie from going to the house."

Now, Alexander says the court ruling on Tuesday was in favour on Beenie Man as "he is allowed to go to house on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to pick up his son unsupervised. He, however, has the choice of bringing along the nanny. When he takes the child, he is not allowed to take the child to any place where there is drinking and smoking."

This, Alexander says, was a major concern of D'Angel who insisted that Beenie Man's bachelor pad was not a conducive environment for a child to be around.

"She (D'Angel) was saying that there was a certain lifestyle up there and she was concerned about her son being there," Alexander said.

However, when asked by the judge about that, "Beenie said that was not where he was going to take his son when spending time with him as he gave the address of another apartment that he had," Alexander said.
