Skeletal remains found

The skeletal remains of a man, believed to be 74-year-old David Irving, was found in bushes in Three Miles River in Westmoreland yesterday by a farmer.

Joshua Irving, a plumber, said his father was last seen on February 25 when he left for a nearby shop to purchase drinks. When he did not return he was reported missing and a search was launched, but to no avail.

According to Irving, his father was living in Jerusalem Mountain and had moved to Llandilo just six months ago, so was not familiar with the surroundings. He said that he knew it was his father because he recognised the grey pants and white polo shirt that he was wearing when he left the house one month ago.

The farmer who found the remains said he was clearing the land to plant corn when he saw the skull. Forensic investigators who c****ed the area came up with several other bones, which were from his limbs and hip.

No foul play is suspected as investigators believe that he might have lost his way in the bushes and collapsed and died before help could reach him. His remains will, however, be taken to forensic lab for testing to confirm his identity and possible cause of death.
