Coming on the heels of Steven 'Di Genius' Mcgregor's 'Day Break riddim' which is now enjoying very favourable reviews from the heavy radio rotation it's been recieving on the local airwaves. Acclaimed music producer Don Corleone has stepped up to the challenge with the release of his latest project dubbed the "Double Joint Riddim".
The project which exudes a very 'old skool' vibe, bears all the attributes of something that could be easily mistaken for the works of producing greats Sly and Robbie. Even though Don was always known to be very creative in his musical endeavours.
According to privied information reaching the completed project sees the likes of upcoming artiste 'Wasp' with a tracks titled "A No Man", which sees him delivering some very edgy social commentary about why the females are fighting our his GOD given asset.
The compilation set to hit the streets soon also features tracks by; Vybz Kartel, Alaine, Bounty Killer, Assassin, Flexxx, Pressure, Bling Dawg and the Gargamel Buju Banton.
Just last month at the recently concluded Reggae Academy Awards both producers we in contention for the coveted title of 'Producer of the Year', but saw their hopes dash when the award was nabbed by Stephen Marley, son of reggae great Bob Marley.
