Publicist Christopher Campbell who was allegedly 'boxed' by Mavado and beaten by members of his entourage will be making a public statement later today on the incident that was triggered by a story on a local entertainment website about the Alliance singer.

In the meantime, there are several rumours circulating around David 'Mavado' Brooks whose show scheduled for Saturday March 16, at Miami Soho Studios was disrupted after an altercation outside the venue left one key member of his entourage, Chase Cross, nursing a near-fatal knife wound to the neck.

Sources told us that after receiving the wound, the young man complained that he could not feel his legs or lower extremities. The police arrived soon the stabbing incident and an ambulance was called to take him to the trauma unit at a nearby hospital.
