Deejay Teflon's latest single, Bobo Run Out Pon Dem on the Darker Shadow rhythm is creating a buzz in the dancehall.
"I am just trying to inspire a new generation of youths, me ah set the ting. Teflon represents the ever burning fire. It is just about keeping the youths focused, it is unstoppable, anything you want is there for you. Mi see the pressures that the yutes are facing, mi feel it myself, the least mi can do is just sing for them," Teflon said.
Another Stephen McGregor-produced single, She Say Please is also doing well.
The deejay, who rose to prominence with Guns Rise, has his own Yard A Love studio in Jack's River, St. Mary, and he is readying himself to put out a new rhythm.
"Capleton a go voice, Earthworm, Donia, Teacha, Eloquent, Jah Balance, Anthony B, it ah go mad," Teflon told dj rohan.
He is also working on an album for Tads International which features production work from Stephen Stanley.
"I just have a few more tracks to complete."
He recently performed at Black My Story and overseas in Boston, and in Toronto alongside Turbulence and I Wayne. Big up Yard A Love, and Supa Hype, the road manager. Margaret handles his bookings.
