Monday, 11 February 2008 The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) has projected a net surplus of $12.2 million including game sponsorship from Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited for their friendly international against Costa Rica at the National Stadium on February 6th.
The preliminary income inclusive of ticket sales, sponsorship and broadcast rights was $30 million.
However the JFF is awaiting returns from three ticket outlets as well as the returns from corporate sales.
The preliminary net expenses from the event total $17.8 million and includes $6.9 million for the airplane tickets and accommodation for the overseas based Jamaican players as well as fees.
Six and a half million dollars was spent on Costa Rica, while other expenses amounted to $4.4 million.
