It seems there is no end to the drama between Beenie Man and his estranged wife D'Angel, just yesterday evening at the first annual Youth View Awards held at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston a battle of subliminal verbal insults was played out between the two.

876radio.com was in the house to witness the unfolding, first up was Beenie Man who hit the stage at approximately 10:30pm very dapperly dressed in a multi-coloured suit capped with a mustard coloured felt hat. He delivered a very energetic set reeling out hit after hit and even called out upcoming singer Barbee to do a combination to "Give it Up" on Mario C's, Revenge Riddim, he then turned and looked at Barbee and said "No one Can Stop Us.....". Can you say endless laughter.

After Barbee exited the stage, Beenie showed why he is the king of the dancehall when he asked the audience "Can I go home now, can I leave please" this was greeting by a resounding "NO" at which point he dropped the microphone and started to tap dance. By this time the crowd was in a frenzy, He then asked Kurt Riley to cut the music so he could deejay a new tune for his fans here are a few lines.

"Why dem form Alliance fi sen mi inna oblivion,
Me a di grammy man, have the most number one
di girls dem sugar man.........."

"Mi wife gimme bun wid annoda man,
so mi just find annoda gyal.."

The laughter and cheers were almost deafening when he utters the lines about his wife's alleged infidelity and D'Angel whose face looked anything but happy, started waving her arms signifying she never committed the act (see pictures below). But sweet revenge came about half an hour later when D'Angel copped the award for 'Most Fashionable Female Celebrity' and was asked by acclaimed American actress Essence Atkins to show her how to struts the catwalk and indeed she did, much to the delight of the crowd.

After giving her speech and paying homage to her son Marco Dean whom she titled "The Love of Her Life" before looking in the direction of Beenie and Barbee who were seated together on the right wing of the auditorium and said "Big up mi real fans dem ..GOD over Devil ....AnSO!" and exited the stage looking like a true diva.
