A recent story carried by 876radio.com about Platinum producer Patrick "Roach" Samuels verbally threatening Zip Jock Liquid seems to have struck a nerve with the producer. In an effort to set the record straight and let the public know what's really happening he agreed to do an exclusive video interview with our team.
During the almost one hour interview, Roach used the opportunity to catergorically state that at no point in time did he threaten the zip jock, and said he was just upset about the way the industry was being runned by the radio jocks and other personnel and decided to vent his case as to why his music was not being played. Unfortunately he decided to use the platform of the local radio station to do so.
He also used the opportunity to expose some of the alleged injustices and bureaucracy being dished out to players in the industry by a selected few.
According to Roach "Don, Liquid and DJ Wayne is three a the most corrupt man inna the business who a sell out reggae music, but wait till Bob Marley hold dem him ago kill dem wid beaten fi the wickedness weh dem duh".
In contrast though he did have high praised for acclaimed producer King Jammy and said "Man like him and me inna the business long before dem and look weh dem come inna it a duh to it" ...
