Tuesday, 08 January 2008 Four policemen assigned to the Constant Spring Police Station in St. Andrew, who were linked to the controversial shooting of a 19-year-old Grants Pen resident, are scheduled to return to court Tuesday.
The four, Noel Bryan, Phillip Dunstan, Clayton Fearon and Omar Miller, were charged with murder last month.
The charges followed the September 28 fatal shooting of Aundre Thomas and an October ruling by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The initial police report stated that he was killed in a shoot-out with the police.
But Mr. Thomas' relatives say he was killed in cold *lo** by the policemen.
In the wake of the shooting, the policemen were also accused of tampering with the service vehicle which was used to transport the wounded man to hospital.
When they appeared before the Half Way Tree Criminal Court on December 28, they were each offered $1 million bail.
