Tuesday, 08 January 2008 The Seaview Gardens Police say the body of a man was discovered with gunshot wounds in Phase One, Kingston 11 on Tuesday morning.

He has been identified as 30-year-old Shawn Christian of Bald Pate Way, Phase One.

Reports are that about 3 o'clock, residents heard explosions and called the police.

Investigators say Mr. Christian's body was found slumped on a chair in the roadway.

Closer examination revealed that he was shot several times.

No motive has been established for the killing.

And 23-year-old Sheldon Phillips of Gregory Park, St. Catherine was shot and killed on Cottage Drive in the community Monday night.

According to the St. Catherine South Police about nine Monday night, residents heard explosions.

When the police arrived at the scene, Mr. Phillip's body was seen on the road with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
