It's a new year and with that comes a lot of new changes, well that is certainly the route famed Dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel is taking.

For 2008 he will be embarking on three new entrepreneurial projects, a new album, a two disc set titled "Time to Teach" one disc will features all the hits we know and love and the other will contain all exclusive material none of which has been heard before.

There is the clothing line call 'Vybz Wear' which will feature clothing both for men and women and last but by no means the least his all new Super Exclusive 'Vybz Rum'.

In an interview with 876radio.com he told us that he plans to embark on an intense marketing and promotional campagne in 2008 for the new liquor which he compares to grey goose because of it's triple distilled attributes.

He said it's a very smooth tasting rum with the subliminal hints of coconut, The liquor will be distributed by Vybz Distillers Limited. When asked about this new company he chuckled and said "Is a new ting we a build, its actually a subsidary of Nelly the rapper's company Pimp Juice".

Of course looking at the product one could not help but to ask about the design of the bottle as just the mere presence of it's exudes sexiness. "Yeah man it sexy duh, is a Italian design, a import we a import the bottles, but the rum itself a yahso (as in Jamaica) it a mek". He added.

Unfortunately we never got to taste the product, because our interviewing journalist does not drink alcohol, but when asked when we can expect to see the product on the shelves of Jamaican Supermarkets and liquor outlets he said "very soon just keep yuh eyes peel to the street, cause everything a puzzle up right yah now".

So all you liquor stores look out Vybz Rum is coming to take it's place in 2008 on a shelf near you.
