Monday is the deadline for application forms to be submitted for the 2008 Canadian and US overseas worker programme.
Earlier this month, Labour Minister, Pearnel Charles called on Parliamentarians to submit recommendations for their constituents to participate in the programme.
In years gone by some MPs were barred from recommending persons for the programme because many of them absconded and remained in the US illegally.
Persons recommended for the programme must be between 22 and 45 years old, literate, of good character and health and must not have been charged with an offence or been deported from any country.
