Assassin's birthday party

Assassins Birthday Party registered a poor turnout at the University of Technology on Saturday night. When One876Entertainment.com arrived at the party at about 2:45 a.m., there were still only a few patrons in the venue but Razz and Biggy, and an inspired set from CD Master kept them entertained. At a few minutes after four, it was show time when Firelinks walked up, then introduced dancer Chi Ching Ching who had the audience laughing with his new slang, heavy-day.

Assassin1.jpgThen it was time for Einstein, but he couldnt deduce what the audience needed to be entertained as his set was full of bad words and lewd references, forcing Assassin himself to walk up and announce versatile. The ladies screamed. He then got into his set, reeling off songs like Gully Sitten, Some Gal, Gal A Watch You and Dem Nuh Like You. He also earned a forward for his anti-gay lines like nuh mek we find you/if we hear man a bathe yuh like Kyino.

He then introduced Busy Signal to loud screams. Busy Signal did Rise and Beat, and thrilled the girls with Pon the Edge. Then Einstein got a forward with Rise up the Rifle Dem, and made way for Tyrical to do We Nuh Waan No Guerilla War.

Macka Diamond, dressed in a tight shorts, declared that she was a money goddess.

Yuh have some man when it touch dem time ah the year, dem lock off dem phone, but after the holiday, tell dem doan call yuh back, she said to shouts of approval from the women.

She then did her take on Charly Blacks Buddy inna P#m P#m song  by doing Money for the P#m P#m. Captain Barkey also touched the stage to big up the birthday boy, and Zumjay did Nah Nyam No Gal. Erup did an inspired set with songs such as Gun Sound, and Gal Ah Run Dem Head, working the stage using a neat sideway glide that mesmerized the crowd. Assassin interjected a bit with one line, we love the gal but we nah mad over dem.

After Erup left the stage, Signal and Assassin did tune for tune, with Busy squeezing off Full Clip and Rise Heavy Machine while Assassin deejayed Do It If Yu Bad and Doan Mek We Hold Yu. Busy Signal also did Unknown Number. When we left the party, Andrew and Wadda *lo** were still performing but it was time to hit the road to return to Heinekens Yesterday in New Kingston.
