A few stars were there including Vybz Kartel and the Portmore Empire, but the story of the night was the clash between the Portmore Empire young*lo**s of Deva Bratt, Shawn Storm and Blak Ryno who went up against the Fagan Fraternitys talented trio, Flexx, Savage and George P.
Flexx was onstage first and started to talk bout some fool weh a call up man name and when time come fi the clash, yu caan find dem. So Deva Bratt walk up pon him, and deejay the tune weh name Mi no see Busy or the big belly man, and the place exploded.
Then the two crews exchanged lyrics, with Shawn Storm only getting a chance to do the chorus If yu Diss Portmore Empire, while Blak Ryno got the crowd buzzing with Mek Di Paper.
Then the clash ended prematurely, and almost in violence as artistes began to grab for mikes, and pushing and shoving began. The streets are saying that the clash ended in a draw and Deva Bratt promised that dem fi buck back a Stone Love and Sting.
The vibes between the Empire and the Fraternity had been bubbling for a while but boiled over with the release of Richie Ramos Art of War mix tape where the Portmore Empire straight-up dissed the Fagan Fraternity by calling them the Gay-gang Fraternity.
I NEVER fail, i'm just SUCCESSFUL in finding out what doesn't work Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.
