Investigators are now probing the circumstances under which Ann-Merita Golding, the daughter or Prime Minister Bruce Golding, was robbed while at home in her St. Andrew apartment.

The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) reports that shortly after midnight yesterday, thieves gained entrance into the apartment and proceeded to rob Ms. Golding of several personal items.

The thieves also reportedly stole a firearm belonging to Ms. Golding's companion, who was also present at the time.

Ms. Golding and her companion were, however, unharmed.

Further reports are that two cars which were parked on the grounds of the apartment complex were also broken into and personal items removed from them.

The St.Andrew Central police and Area 4 detectives are investigating
