The whereabouts of deejay Merciless, have now been ascertained.
Gadaffi, the deejays manager told The STAR that he has finally made contact with Merciless, whose real name is Leonard Bartley, who was believed to be incarcerated.
"Leonard deh a road. It wasn't fi him case, di person he was driving with, the police wanted and they held both of them," Godaffi said.
Godaffi, who spoke with THE STAR in an earlier interview had said, he could not reach Merciless, but had heard that he was in jail in the US.
"I saw his (Merciless) brother the other day an him did a sey him hear sey Merciless inna lock up, but dem nuh sure what's happening either," he had said.
While Godaffi said he was still unclear as to the full details surrounding Merciless' arrest and subsequent release, he says he is sure of one thing: "Merciless will be in Jamaica soon, he'll be heading to Crystal Spring this Sunday at my show in Portland."
Merciless, who is scheduled to return to the island next week Sunday, can be seen in live action on stage at the Crystal Springs Family fun day, alongside other acts like Tarrus Riley, Richie Spice, Ninja Man, Capleton, Chuck Fender and Sizzla.
Godaffi says, "the family fun day is a show that will start from 10 a.m. for the kids and show time is at 2 p.m."
But what else is in store for Merciless?
Gadaffi says, a stint on Sting might be in the works.
"Wi a pass tru Sting to an he is back, ready fi every ting. He's more lyrical than before and he says he is still the Warhead," Godaffi said.
Merciless also sent out his own warning saying, "mi cyan mash up, cyan dead, I'm still di Warhead."
