Portmore Empire top enforcer Blak Ryno has recorded a new single that has a line that could be construed as a diss of the artiste known as the Gangsta Ras, Munga.

Questioned about the recently recorded single, Ryno said: "If ah him, ah him, it connect then."

In the intro, he bigs up Stephen McGregor, and then in the first verse, he deejays: 'gangsta, follow weh him friend say, but we no fight karate like sensei'.

Vybz Kartel, head of Adidjaheim Records, has remained neutral in the blossoming brouhaha between Big Ship and Don Corleon records because he is a friend and close collaborator of the two top producers. However, Blak Ryno is a close collaborator of Stephen McGregor so anything is possible.

Born Romaine Anderson, he grew up in the community of 'Third World' in Portmore where he attended Bridgeport High. While at school, he joined a seven-member group called East Side, but after leaving school, he was the one who continued to stay true to his musical ambitions.

A meeting with Kartel during which the deejay said he liked his flow only served to strengthen his resolve. He then recorded the single, Shelle-le-le on the Siren rhythm and producers began to pay attention to him. He earned forwards at stage shows such as 'Picture You and Me' in St. Thomas and has been building his rep one stage show at a time across the Caribbean in countries like Guadeloupe, Martinique and Barbados. He even lowered the boom at a show in France as well.
