Son of Reggae star, Freddie McGregor, Chino took time out to address the simmering Munga-Big Ship feud that heated up when Munga dropped the buss my gun, dem Ship sink line that most people think triggered the feud. But according to Chino, theres more going on behind the friction.

We anno friend, but nuff people no really understand why, if it was the song alone (the one with the line about Big Ship sink), I would low it, but it deeper than that. Stephen build a rhythm called Live Up but someone else produced it, and so Stephen was mixing some songs for that rhythm. At the same time, he was about to drop Tremor and he had Munga in mind to voice because we cool with Cool Face, and then when we get the file with Munga song and Stephen a mix it and there was a line that said, buss it rounda Big Ship, Stephen run go hide,

So the man voice it and send it to we, knowing seh Stephen a mix it, that a big diss, and we coulda tek it to him lyrically and musically from dem time de because him no good. Anyway, him get a page, and him run go change the line and say if dem violate Big Ship, Stephen gun ah go rise. Ah him drive come up here come drop off the file. And this is the man who say him no see nuh flesh wah him fraida and him tek back him talk. So from dem time, we realize him a pree we, he explained.

Chino straight up dissed Munga with the song, Punga Don a Pebble on the Dark Again rhythm. He even threatens Munga with physical violence in no uncertain terms when he sings: Bout my ship a sink, what dem tinking about/Shot tear out dem grills inna mouth.

Chino even punks out Munga for his half-hearted attempt to diss the Big Ship when he spits:
Call up man name like dem tink is a joke
Tell dem watch dem blinking approach
Mi neva mean it, is just a little hype me a look
Mi hear the little wimp him a shout

He said that he had two other songs that addressed the Munga issue, but that he was not interested in prolonging any animosity with the 'Gangsta Ras' because he felt the feud is a "waste" of his time, talent and tune.

Not to sound c**cky, but he is not in my class, we are two different leagues. he is a clash artiste, he rides on people name to get a hype, thats why him call up Donia name. But him need fi know himself, Big Ship is not a skettel label, if yu diss Big Ship, me nah go tek dat, him never hear we name ah call inna certain tings, and when mi answer him, it was not just a song, mi was talking mi mind,

He lashed Mungas reliance on the Autotune feature to tweak his distinctive high-pitched sound.

He has a robot voice, him caan survive without Autotune, he cannot sing a note without Autotune, me see on Up and Live ah talk about that it is his voice...and everybody know thats a lie, he is a press button, a robot, him waan voice fi Stephen and now him caan, he said.

For now, Chino is turning his attention towards the promotion of his album Unstoppable with lead single Rave All Night. Director Ras Shac has already been tapped to shoot a video for the single soon.
