The Jamaican fans of dancehalls comical duo, Twin of Twins have been wondering what has happened to their source of laughter on serious issues affecting the country.


How come unnuh nah see we pon shows? Ask Beenie Man, said Patrick Curly Lox Gaynor, He said it is the self-proclaimed King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man who has been forcing them off stage shows locally.

He has been taking us off 90% of the shows locally, he uses his clout to remove us from shows. Curly Lox said.

Many may be wondering what caused the friction between the artistes.

We never trouble Beenie, Beenie trouble we, it start because we have links wid Bounty Killer, Curly Lox said.

The friction got so tense the Twin said that his life, along with his brothers was threatened by Beenie Man. Our life has been threatened but nobody nuh hear bout threat till Don Mafia a.k.a  Gringo come out ah talk bout threat, nobody nuh know seh people ah get drop off shows till Spice come out, he said.

He is no God, he is flesh and blood like me and mi brother, put the Range Rover and them material things deh aside.
 
According to Curly Lox, everyone can relate to the Twins experience, This is a job just like people out a road, and mi sure seh everybody have a coworker who wah get rid of them.

We just a gwaan do our ting same way, Ah just music, we nah change nuh element of how we do wi ting, nuttn we seh nuh personal, he continued.

They will not give up though, they will keep making their music. Everybody. mi nuh bizniz who a fight wi, from yuh ah fight we, we ah fight back.

Curly Lox says they are gearing up for a show in Egypt in approximately two weeks. It nuh final yet but we suppose to do a show in Egypt innah two weeks, no other dancehall artiste has ever perform there, he said.
