A Manchester farmer died Wednesday in the Percy Junor Hospital after he had ingested a weedkiller following the destruction of his house by Hurricane Dean last Sunday.
Dead is Alvin Pusey, a 62-year-old man of Contrivance district in the outskirts of Walderston.
Reports are that Pusey's concrete and timber house lost its roof during Hurricane Ivan in 2004. He then threatened that if his house was damaged by 'Dean', he would drink Gramo-zone, a weedkiller.

His house lost its roof again in Hurricane Dean, after which Pusey drank the deadly substance the following Tuesday and was admitted to the hospital, where he died.
