A prenuptial agreement that Beenie and Michelle D'Angel Downer signed before last years August 22 wedding should protect
the top deejay's real estate assets and sizeable bank account in the event of a nasty divorce.
 Yea, man, mi want a divorce, there is no way we can resolve this, me fed up with the disrespect. We signed a prenup and ting, Patrick Roberts have the prenup, he said. Efforts to get a comment from Patrick Roberts proved futile.
  Under Jamaican law, you have to be married for one year, and separated for another before one can initiate proceedings to obtain a divorce. 
    The idea of a divorce is not far-fetched for anyone who read last weeks newspaper headlines or saw the Onstage interview on CVM over the last weekend.
Anyone who has not been living under a rock  will arrive at the inescapable conclusion that the celebrity marriage is decidedly over. Right now, all thats left is a decent burial.
 But the question that remains even after days of speculation, is why now? Is it really this mystery man - DAngels deep-pocketed friend who is the major cause of this most public of breakups? Or is it some other reason?  Was DAngel just the flavour of the
moment for deejay Beenie Man? And now he is willing to
discard her like an old shoe?

 On the morning of his Reggae Sumfest Dancehall Night show, he said that he went to plug his phone into the charger when he saw D'Angel's cellphone ringing, and saw a girls name come up. But I saw the same number (of the guy) so I dialled the number back and a man answer. So mi realize say she save the number under a
different name, he said.

CUT IN ANGEL'S FACE

 "Mi wake har up and say baby wah dis?" She denied his allegations and when he tried to call back the number, she tried grabbing the phone from him. During the argument he claimed mi fling the phone inna the wall, and then mi up in har face, and mi forehead big so it
accidentally knock under her eye and cut it, and by the time he went for some ice to put on it, she ran outside screaming murder and called the police.
 He also said that she gave him back his ring, throwing it on the floor. .
 However, Angels close associates deny Beenies
version of events. They claim he pulled the ring from her finger and that he hit her in face, causing a gash requiring four stitches. 
 Beenie is a liar and a drunkard, he hits her a lot and when him come in from wherever, he wants to just abuse her and she muss tek it. He beat her up more than once and she hid it because she wanted to save her marriage. Now, him decide that the marriage ting is not for him, the hype is gone, and him want an excuse to leave so him concoct this story so that the public will be on his side, one source said.  

 However, Beenie maintains that it wasnt about the
hype.
 Ah me engage her when me fly her to England, me marry her, me did want this, I still love her, but me caan deal with this. Even when me de ah England, pon tour, people ah call me, things ah talk say things ah gwaan between Angel and this man, he said.
