It's Just A Few Words

Stupidity Brings Misery

The argument I'm about to pursue may caused a bit of a stir, because of the fervid presumptions often italicized by those who'll always opposed  such arguments. But let me reassure those of such character. I welcome this action.

Simply because I do not have all the answers, nor a few, and probably whatever I have left may perhaps be unsatisfactory or self-contradictory. But I do know that it's a view, and I'm asking you humbly to at least read, even though you're not obligated to. Who knows where this could end ? It perhaps may open up discussions that could even  enlighten and expand the minds on either sides of the fence, or merely looked upon as meaningless dark letters deliberately placed against a bone white background .

So without further ado,  let me begin by itemizing or numbering a few things. I will first address the issue of our politics here in Jamaican and its effect on the people. Secondly, I will share my views on religion, specifically those of the monotheistic faith. Reason being, is that it's the most dominant religion on the land, and its impact is tremendous. Third but not least, I will attempt the herculean tasks of forging these ideologies together  and to demonstrate the impact it have on us collectively.

Our politics without a shadow of a doubt have created a demarcated line that have deliberately transformed our land into who become the haves or the have nots. Also, it has rendered some of us as supra-dependents or ultra dependents, with the syndrome of the same name.  Therefore, some of the  things that would prompt  some of us to vote are things that have nothing to do with the real issues that affects us collectively, as well as our general understanding of economics.

Furthermore, since 1972 until now, this Island in the Caribbean have lagged behind its neighbors, when prior to that  it was amongst the Jewel of the Caribbean. There are myriad of reasons attributes to this state, but in the end it will all to boil down to how this Island was led. And from all indication it was either mismanaged or unmanageable. The second erroneous state, will either be a result of the first, or the first a result of it. Therefore, It will require sound or effective management to mitigate most of our dysfunctional attitudes.

The period of 1972-1980 could be regarded as one of the darkest period in the modern history of this country, due to both internal and external deleterious factors. Some where indeed avoidable while others weren't. Then the period of 1989-2007 further shoved the nation into the abyss. I'm not here to further a political agenda by picking on this present administration. In fact I'm lauding this administration for having the balls of making unpopular decisions that are geared to lift this nation from this super black hole.  However, one should be cognizant of the dilemmas of both periods, and question whether or not we are experiencing any aftershocks.

On The Idea Of God

The concept of the monotheistic god are pretty amazing , but I've found them to be untoward as for I'm concerned. These attributes appeared to be in each others way , and pushes the idea of god further into obscurity. For example, God is regarded as all-loving, all-presence as well as all-powerful with the presence of Evil. Now perhaps there are strong logical arguments to defend the idea of god in spite of the presence of Evil, but the real issue is that ALL- GOOD, POWERFUL and PRESENCE attributes against even a tiny grain of evil is a  crazy form of thinking in my view. Yet the world have a large reservoir of EVIL, making it even more absurd. Do I hear the argument of Free Will ? Well, those who pushes this argument haven't grasps this very tough philosophical problem as yet, or that they're just being too disingenuous.

The Forged and its Effects

Politics and religion are two of the most powerful institutions, that have been wheeling their powers over humanity from as far  back as the emergence of modern humans. Our lives are culturally wrapped up in our psyche whether we agree with them or not. The efficacy of their good and bad are renowned throughout the world, and clearly engraved within mankind psyche fostered by our creative dexterity. This also clearly generate or demonstrate that we're nothing but humans, that are still extremely curious, thus we create religion, that has later carried us to philosophy, and then to the natural sciences, and then from that sayhellowho knows ?
