Even if we did not exist, the Universe would still be here....has a matter of fact, It doesn't care or even know if we're around, because it's not like that, meaning that it is not anthropomorphic...even though it contains the stuff, that can make things like us...yet we think that it was created for us, simply because our ancestors created the concept of Anthropomorphism, while they had wandered around the flipping planet, and started to anthropomorphized every little thing in sight that seemed peculiar.
