Embattled Dancehall superstar, Adidja Palmer, otherwise known as Vybz Kartel, will likely face new charges this week regarding one of his murder cases.

Kartel already faces a drug-related charge stemming from his initial arrest in September as well as charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm in relation to the July killing of St. Catherine based promoter, Barrington "Bossie" Burton. Additionally, the self-professed, "Worl' Boss" stands accused of killing Clive "Lizard" Williams, a dancer from Waterford, St Catherine, this past August.

Now, the head of the Criminal Investigation Branch, Assistant Commissioner Ealan Powell intimates that Kartel will face additional charges with regards to the Williams murder case. According to ACP Powell, charges of perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice will be issued against the internationally acclaimed deejay later this week.

Kartel's Portmore Empire protégé, Gaza Slim stands accused of perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to pervert the court of justice after police seized a cellular phone containing a text message where "Di Teacha" allegedly orders her to falsify a robbery. On October 29, Gaza Slim filed a police report at the Constant Spring Police Station, claiming she was robbed and gun-butted by the aforementioned Clive "Lizard" Williams. Gaza Slim filed the report five days after Kartel was charged in Williams' murder.

Kartel and the co-accused in the Williams case, fellow protégé, Shawn "Shawn Storm" Campbell, personal designer, Calvin "Moonie" Haye and Cayro Jones are scheduled for a court appearance later this month in the matter.
