The death of Dancehall? Who’s next!?

What is really going on in the Portmore Empire?  Is it a group of musicians working to pursue a career in music or is it a crime ring?  Recent activities have left a number of persons thinking the latter.

The head of the Portmore Empire, Vybz Kartel was arrested and charged for murder and as if that was not enough drama for the Empire, another member of the group Shawn Storm has also been arrested and jointly charged with his leader, Kartel for the murder of Clive Williams also known as Lizard.

The body of Lizard has not yet been found.  According to the prosecution they have video and telephone evidence linking the men to the crime.  It is also alleged that, Shawn Storm played the role of the messenger in this conspiracy.  It is alleged that Shawn Storm was the one who called Lizard to his death.

My concern as usual is how this affects the music.  The music industry is constantly being plagued by a series of arrests of members of the music industry.  This really leaves us to wonder, what really is the connection between the music industry and the underworld? Is it that it is impossible for these artists to let loose certain links from where they are from?

a jus certain set a man a get inna trouble all the while...once again...bad apples spoil the whole bunch....u ever hear say sassin a get lock up ?......octane?.....zamunda, chino, twins? donia?(notice mi nuh call nuh gully/alliance name...tek notice)...so how one the incareration of one set a ppl affect music??......ppl are just making it look that way....music can never die....no1 is bigger than the music....how when bob dead...ppl naah say the music get fock yah now...cause bob gone....it move on...and build more ppl and grow.....ppl just need fi face facts and move on....simple...

lol u live in a different dimension, no one is saying anyting like dat becuz its not one set a man make dancehall music, its just how dat one set a people promoted d dancehall music, d music is still alive its just dat not everyone is interested in promoting themselves like how d other people dem do by pushing out songs everyweek n keep dancehall on a rapid movement of new music everytime.

 if u have to push out songs every week...it proves that ur music has no substance to it....and ur just draining out ur self and its not going further than sum lame a.ss top 10 on hypetv....so whose smarter...the man who does a album....and markets it properly and he reaps rewards by touring and getting record deals....OR the man who does 3,4,5 songs every week....and they dont go further than a mark watson mixtape inna bus?....thats it? lol
