ASHLEY COLE is going into the restaurant business, teaming up with international rap star Jay-Z.

The pair met in New York to plan the building of a brand new London restaurant set to launch next year. 

It is the first of a number of entertainment ventures brokered by Chris Nathaniel of NVA Entertainment Group.

They will be giving jobs to the long-term unemployed as well as donating a percentage of the profits that are made to charity.

Cole said: "It is really exciting to be working with a star like Jay Z.

"And the fact we can help unemployed people by training them up and putting them to work at a top place while also helping charities makes it a great project."
