DJ Khaled will be returning to store shelves this summer with his fifth, star-studded compilation album and XXLMag.com has the details from the man himself on who fans can expect to hear on the disc, which will be his first for Cash Money records.
Titled We the Best Forever, the LP, according to Khaled, will of course feature appearances from the usual suspects (Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Ace Hood, Jadakiss, Birdman and Fat Joe), along with a long list of surprises. Khaled revealed that Nas (who appeared on 2008s Im On), Kanye West (who appeared on both Khaleds Grammy Family in 2006 and Go Hard in 2008), Cee-Lo Green, Drake, and Waka Flocka Flame will all make cameos. He also mentioned a possible song with Nicki Minaj.
Possibly the biggest shockers come in the form of the R&B contributors, though. I got some people I havent worked with, like Chris Brown on my album, Keyshia Cole, [and] Mary J. Blige.
Asked if the crooners will alter his signature sound, he replied: My Chris Brown record is its called Legendary. It aint R&B, that %&%* hard but everybody can relate to it.
In typical Khaled fashion, the Terror Squad rep teased the importance of the album. My album is he most amazing thing ever, he said. Its the biggest album coming out. The records on there are straight hits.
