During the lead-up week to the Super Bowl, North Texas experienced widely-ranging, record-setting numbers: Outside, exceptionally frigid temperatures literally froze over the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. At the same time, inside country and western night club Billy Bobs Texas, an unveiling of the Largest belt buckle in existence - 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m ) tall, 8 ft 6 in (2.59 m) wide - as inspected and certified by Guinness World Records® Adjudicator Danny Girton Jr., celebrated ESPN and commissioned Texan sculptor Kelly Grahams world-class achievement!

According to event organizers, the façade of the aluminum buckle paid homage to the state of Texas, the city of Fort Worth where it will permanently reside at Billy Bobs Texas stockyard-area venue -  ESPN* and other Super Bowl events around the area.

Home to a new Guinness World Records® feat, perhaps Fort Worth  may next create a large belt to complement their buckle!
