A MZJA RADIO DJS' PLEA !!! (DJ DISCUSSION)

hello Myself and a few other djs have a few gripes in regards to the radio and the listeners.
  • Ppl have been complaining that they are unable to hear on the radio page due to the video player as it crashes their browsers especially on Internet Explorer. What can we do about this? hmm
  • Some djs including myself have been bawling for the return of auto radio due to the fact that we are here playing our little hearts out fi all 3 hr and only have 3 listeners. That is TOTALLY unacceptable. When the old radio was up most of us never had less than 20 listeners so y all of a sudden we nah none?hmm dem suppum deh cut dj vibes u nuh thats y nuhbaddy nuh waa play more while.
  • Is it a fact that the ppl no longer wanna hear the radio anymore? Or is it that MZJA has too many things to offer above the chat box?pree2
  • What can we do djs??? Dash out some suggestions please caa this a get outta hand nowcs

I feel you Glamity. Most Sun I play 7 to 9 hrs and you cant tell how much ppl on here listening. I going to start doing prerecorded instead of live unless something change.

Another thing Vdj tell on your library when you broadcast from it. Xmix shut me down through Vdj during a broadcast because they couldn't verify my copy of a song.
Scary.

Everyone is totally annoyed with the bandwidth the video box is sucking up. Please take it down.

I know this is volunteer radio and everyone is discouraged with the listenership but please fill your spot and keep this thing going. even if it prerecord. Most professionals prerecord anyway.

I agree Romeo alot of djs are gonna start playing mixes and stuff and that will make it even lamer. we as djs who actually enjoy playing need to come up with some solutions cos if not zone might as well start auditions again caa nuff a we ago cutnod.gif

I definately agree with you we really need to work on that wen we a mix we life out aswell i wud suggest putting back the radio up top that wud be much appreciated.. Do you know the meaning of radio mods and promotion mods aswell yh we know they do all the work wen it comes to the radio which is really appreciated but both mod (radio and promotion) can advertise wen a dj is playing cuz when ppl a play i try advertise it suh ppl can tune in mi nuh like d likkle ting weh dem did seh.. zone use to be a fun place still is but it still lose alot of vybz weh use to come from what we seh we love and thats music....!!! sort out the radio ting cuz as ppl come in ppl fi a hear the radio as was said only on weekends i heard it was suppose to be taken down.. just work pon things fi mek the whole radio ting even better.. thanks Admins and Mods blessings

i agree especially since zone has such a heavy fb an twitta following us on our own flashin ads an stuff nah work. unu need fi help we out nod.gif meck wi c waa di Mods haffi suggest.

i hear u glam true we cant see how many people are actual logged on when playing its mad 4 all u know u b playing 2 yourself as 4 internet prob i,m using firefox 3.1 with add ons an hav no problem with streaming as 4 the vid its jus der it dont play doe an its muted i think we need some adverts posted everywerelolbut then some1 would always hav 2 b playing on radio music
