The people of North East St. Ann will have to go back to the polls to elect a new Member of Parliament. The seat, which was formerly occupied by the Jamaica Labour Party's Shahine Robinson, has been declared vacant.
The ruling paved the way for a by-election Friday morning.
Robinson, who was forced to vacate the seat after lawyers representing Senior-Smith presented proof that she was a citizen of the United States, has indicated that she will be offering herself as a candidate when a date for a by-election is announced by the Electoral Office of Jamaica.
