A second man has been charged in connection with the shooting of dancehall artiste Ewart 'Cobra' Brown more than two months ago.
Ryan Mclaughlin, 22, from Portmore, St Catherine, is set to join Raheim Johnson in the Gun Court on Friday.
Mclaughlin, who is charged with shooting with intent, appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
The court heard that he was one of the men charged with the May 11 shooting of Cobra.
Mclaughlin's attorney, in applying for bail, told the court the crown's case had flaws. She said her client was picked up in July and no identification parade was held. It was later revealed that she stopped Mclaughlin from doing the parade.
Resident Magistrate, Marcia Dunbar-Green, told the defence that the case would be transferred to the Gun Court.
It is alleged that about 7:30 p.m., the entertainer went to Braeton Phase Two, St Catherine, and during an argument he was shot in his chest by a group of men.
