GERMANY DEFEATS URUGUAY 3-2, TAKES 3RD PLACE

It was a match between Uruguay and Germany. Germany finally won the match 3-2 and went to take the third place in the tournament, repeating what they did last World Cup.

Uruguay came with a complete team, after the return of Suarez, Lugano and Fucile, who couldnt play in the game against Netherlands. They looked very motivated for the game.

Germany on the other hand saw the return of Mueller, and you could see how important this player for the teams creative side is. Through his feet passed the ball countless times and he was named the man of the match.

This was a very exciting game., Both teams had equal chances of winning the match on the field. Uruguay started a bit slow but quickly gained up pace, and Germany with the new style of play they have now, give a great show every game (well, except when they played against Spain). I couldnt stop feeling that this should have been the World Cup Final, with both teams complete. (I agree with this)

At the final second Forlan nearly ties the match after a free kick that went straight to the corner of the post!
