A seven-month-old baby girl is now without her parents after criminals shot and killed both of them yesterday at Crescent district in Dam Head, St Catherine.
Those killed have been identified as Rosevelt Edwards, a 29-year-old employee of Kingston Terminal and 34-year-old Shauna Graham of Old Harbour, St Catherine.
"I know that the child will always remember the wickedness that took place here this morning, although it look like shi nuh know shi will never forget," a female bystander said.
Reports from the St Catherine North police are that about 7 a.m., residents heard the baby crying continuously and when someone went to investigate, Edwards was seen on the veranda in a sitting position with multiple gunshot wounds. An alarm was raised and persons went into the house where Graham was found in the bedroom also with gunshot wounds.
They were pronounced dead on the spot.
The St Catherine North Homicide Unit, which is conducting investigations in the matter, said no motive has been established for the killings.
