What is that annoying constant humming sound at the World Cup matches??

The constant drone of cheap and tuneless plastic horns is killing the atmosphere at the World Cup and when you are watching it on TV.

They are South African vuvuzela trumpets, i feel they are taking away from the game, i guess i can get used to them but i'd rather hear the crowds boo's, aaahhhss, ooohhhss, fans chanting, etc. What do you all think of this noise, should it be dealt with, limited or left alone?

I'd like to hear less of that constant humming, it's annoying...

Not annoying for me..but...heard ppl complaing bout it..and i think they gonna ban the horns..they talkin bout banning them rite now

I heard the commentators say that the noise could get worse as the World Cup progresses!

It sounds like a large swarm of bees, very annoying when your trying to watch the damn match, even for a once in a while spectator such as myself.

The horns were so loud, you could not hear the Nigerian Band play. Nigerian Matches are unique because of this band, but sadly all you could hear was the Vuvuzelas, which have absolutely no melody or any hope of being even remotely musical.
