Inter Milan have confirmed the appointment of former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez as their new manager.
Benitez has quickly found himself a new job after leaving Liverpool by mutual consent last week.
Inter president Massimo Moratti made Benitez his top target to succeed Jose Mourinho at the San Siro following the Portuguese tactician's move to Real Madrid.
Benitez has signed a two-year deal at Inter and he has a tough act to follow in Mourinho, with the former Chelsea chief guiding Inter to an unprecedented treble of Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia last season.
Spanish coach Benitez is to be introduced to the Italian media at a press conference next Tuesday
A club statement read: "This morning, with both parties in agreement, a two-year deal until June 30, 2012 has been agreed between the Spanish manager and the club."
