DETECTIVES from the Major Investigation Task Force, (MIT), found a body in a kneeling position, with hands and feet bound and mouth gagged in a shallow grave near a section of Tivoli Gardens known as 'Rasta City' this morning.
The cops are continuing the removal of the human remains and have so far managed to remove most of the dirt from around the body.
Police say the person appeared to have been shot and suspect that more bodies may be buried in the area. They have extended their search to bushy areas along Marcus Garvey Drive opposite the community.
"Hopefully we can have sniffer dogs to assist us in locating some of the bodies," an officer on the scene said.
Government Pathologist Raol Dinesh is on the ground in Tivoli Gardens and will conduct a post mortem.
The security forces have camped out in Tivoli Gardens since Monday, May 23 when they attempted to serve an arrest warrant on wanted fugitive Christopher 'Dudus' Coke.
Coke, who is wanted by the United States authorities on gun and drug running charges, has been on the run ever since.
